Why Sponsor the 2027 RBC JCC Sports Dinner
GET IN THE GAME: WHY THE SMARTEST BRANDS IN VANCOUVER SHOW UP FOR SPORTS DINNER
Some sponsorships are just a logo on a banner. The RBC JCC Sports Dinner is a night where your brand shares a room, a stage, and a cause with Vancouver’s business leaders, athletes, and philanthropists. And in 2027, the stage has Kevin Bieksa on it.
On February 23, 2027, at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver, the 34th annual RBC JCC Sports Dinner returns with Canucks fan favourite and Sportsnet broadcasting star Kevin Bieksa as guest speaker. The in-person gala brings together over 700 guests for a three-course meal, hosted bar, exciting raffles, live and silent auctions, Olympic athletes, Jack Diamond Award winners, and more.
Why Corporate Sponsors Say Yes
Be seen by the right people. Put your brand in front of Vancouver decision-makers, business owners, and community leaders.
Host clients in a room they’ll remember. Skip the boardroom lunch. Give clients and colleagues a night of hockey stories, great food, laughs, and bidding wars.
Visibility well beyond the night. Sponsors are recognized across the event website, social media, and email newsletters, as well as JCC and event video screens and in the event program and signage. Select sponsors are also showcased in multimedia ads placed with our media partners.
Do good, loudly. Align your brand with a trusted Vancouver nonprofit and show your community where you stand.
Sponsors enjoy a VIP experience with premium seating, networking opportunities with corporate leaders, athletes, and clients and colleagues brought as guests. Many companies bring in top executives from across the country to mingle and connect, which is part of what makes the event a fantastic networking opportunity, especially for those in the development, real estate, and financial industries.
What Our Sponsors Say
When asked what they enjoy most about Sports Dinner, sponsors cite the sense of camaraderie it fosters and that it’s a fun, high-energy event where people can come together, celebrate sports, and support a good cause. Others say the event stands out for the exceptional caliber of athletes featured and the unforgettable experiences created for attendees, including thoughtful details designed to engage and inspire. The event’s ability to highlight local and global athletes and create a lively atmosphere that combines philanthropy with entertainment is very special.
“RBC is deeply proud to support the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver, not just as a partner, but as an active contributor to their transformative work,” says Martin Thibodeau, Regional President, British Columbia of RBC Royal Bank and Sports Dinner title sponsor. “Our support… reflect[s] our commitment to building stronger communities where everyone can thrive. They truly are more than an address — they're the heart of a thriving community and we're honored to help fuel their mission. When we invest in the JCC, we're investing in futures, in possibilities, and in the unmatched power of people coming together with purpose.”
What Your Sponsorship Supports
Every dollar raised supports the Jewish Community Centre (JCC) of Greater Vancouver, an inclusive community centre welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds. Funds help provide subsidies and low-barrier social and recreational programs for youth, families, seniors, and people with diverse needs, such as learning disabilities and mental health challenges. The JCC is committed to valuing all individuals within our community and giving everyone their opportunity to thrive.
“From the toasts shared between our sponsors to the smiles of those benefiting from our programs, it’s an evening that goes beyond prestige to create real community impact," says Jess Musoke, the JCC’s Director of Special Events and Sponsorship. “It’s a marquee event everyone looks forward to, and we are endlessly grateful for the support of our sponsors.”
