It takes a village to raise a child is not just a proverb at the JCC. The JCC is an integral hub that centres our community. Our commitment to providing programs and services for children of all ages, abilities, backgrounds and financial circumstances to learn, explore and socialize in a nurturing and safe environment is at the core of all that we offer.

Every child deserves to learn, explore, laugh and thrive. We provide vital scholarships and subsidies to families and children so that no child is left behind.

Your support isn't just a donation; it's an act of empowerment. Together, we can nurture the potential of our youth, sow seeds of positive change in future generations, and create a community rooted in hope and limitless possibilities for all.

Last year, our generous donors helped 690 kids participate in recreation and licensed early childhood education programs and 860 kids attend camp, 40 of whom received subsidies to participate, while 36 with diverse needs were provided one-to-one support. For teens, $8,000 in scholarships was provided to attend the Maccabi Games.

For adults 55+ and people of all abilities, 42 communal meals were cooked and shared and 24 excursions providing new experiences were embarked on, strengthening community for everyone. To learn much more and see your contribution at work, check out the 2024-2025 Impact Report.
